What do you need to know?

You must be over the age of 18 and have held a standard driving licence for at least 2 years. The first licence you can then apply for is a PCV category D1(Minibus) licence, allowing you to carry between 8 and 16 passengers in a vehicle up to 750kg.

If that’s not enough, you can then go for the PCV category D licence. This gives you the option to drive any size PCV vehicle, including single and double decker buses. As well as making you indispensable to your company, it can even be the start of a whole new career.
